You’ve seen us host Happily Family Online Conferences.
Run our business.
Create a bestselling book.

Do you ever wonder how we got started in the first place?

And who helped us get where we are now?

Jason and I were both preschool teachers, with two young kids, and we taught every day in the classroom.

We loved our job, but we also had dreams.

We wanted to help parents.
Raise our kids the way we wanted to.
Have time to be a part of their lives.
Have the freedom to live wherever we want.
Make an impact on the world.
Stop trading our time for money.

We started Happily Family from the laundry nook off the side of the kitchen.

But we didn’t know how to sell things or do anything online.
We had no social media presence.
No connections to famous people.
We had so little money that we played cards with my parents for our “date nights”.

So we found a mentor.

Our mentor taught us how to start a business online.
To grow our business by serving and teaching.

His name is Jeff Walker, and we’ve used his system, Product Launch Formula, over and over again.

Step by step, we put the pieces in place, building our business.

We quit our preschool teaching jobs.

We followed what Jeff taught us.
We developed a parenting course.
Created our first online conference.
And started coaching parents.

And the other day, we got to interview Jeff (a true full circle moment!).

  • We talked about how to start a business with a young family.
  • What launches are and why they are so important
  • How launches work for people regardless of their industry

When we first started, everything was scrappy and imperfect.

We worked before our kids woke up in the morning and during the summer.
Our first website was ugly.
The tech was primitive.

But we made mistakes.
And learned.

Our audience grew.
And our revenue.

Through the ups and downs, the growing pains, the doubts and fears, we pushed forward.

And then we took another big leap…

We moved so that we could live our dream…

A house in the shade of an oak tree
Close to a river
Close to the forest
So we could raise our kids the way we wanted to.

If you have an interest in having your own business–or growing your existing one–Jeff is our go-to person. He’s ridiculously experienced, heart-centered, and he’s got a free training coming soon that you do not want to miss.
